SA63-7 3" Square Grilles - For High Output Small Aperture Speakers by James Audio
Custom made by us at Nixie to suit this range of Loudspeaker
Designed following James Loudspeaker published drawing's to fit S A63-GRILLE-S-SS 3" Square Solid Surface Trim Kit for use when installing into a solid surface such as timber cladding. Please note: these plans have been modified with a slightly reduced slot count to offer more strength between the grille slots - Original drawings were not possible to manufacture due to most timber claddings being too weak for this slot count/minimal material between slots.
We have successfully manufactured these grilles from Beech and Yaki Sugi or Shou Sugi Ban Japanese style charred cedar.
Send us an offcut of your cladding and we will make your required quantity of grilles and send back to you.

Alternatively Fusion 360 CNC nested and ready for manufacture plans are available.
This is a 2-sided operation and an accurate CNC machine will be required as well as a locating jig for flipping the part accurately.
All machining can be done with a 3mm downcutting end mill.
After making payment for these plans you will be Emailed the Fusion .f3d file.
Please note: The Stock within the Fusion setup will need adjusting depending on the actual material nominal thickness
